Classes are FREE for VAA students and are available to the general public at a price of $45.00 per day. The week of instruction will culminate in a dance showcase on Friday evening, tentatively scheduled for 6:30 pm. Details to follow.

Registration is required. This is a premiere performance art experience for students going into grades 2-8 who really like to sing, dance, & act. No previous experience is required.
Looking to take your triple threat skills to the next level? The Valley Academy for the Arts is pleased to introduce our musical-theatre division led by Jessica Lynn French, a recent transplant from New York City. We believe in giving actors and actresses of all ages opportunities to cultivate their talents and gain the skills needed to perform at a professional Broadway industry level. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned performer, we have opportunities in store for you!

Guest Instructor: Marguerite Luksik, Artistic Director Central Midwest Ballet Academy, Madison, WI will be at Valley Academy on Monday, June 25 and Wednesday June 27, 2018. She will be teaching as part of our Summer Ballet Intensive from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Class is FREE for VAA students already enrolled in this class, and is open to the public for $35.00 per class session. Intermediate - Advance Ballet students welcome.
Marguerite Luksik, a native of Johnstown, PA, trained with Allegheny Ballet under Deborah Anthony and the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Graduate Program. She has danced professionally with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Ballet Austin, Chicago Ballet, Peoria Ballet and Madison Ballet. She has performed works by choreographers such as Stanton Welch, Thaddeus Davis, Paul Gibson, Ben Stevenson, Steven Mills and Terrence Orr. She has performed lead roles in Balanchine’s Who Cares, W. Earle Smiths’s Dracula and Nutcracker, and Peter Anastos’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She is currently on faculty with the UW Madison's Dance Department, served on faculty with Madison Ballet for 6 years, has worked with the Overture Center of the Arts in both their arts integration and Tommy Award programs as well as worked one on one with local gymnasts, Irish dancers, and ice skaters.
