Where the Wild Things Are! (Ages 4-6)
September 24 through October 15 (4 classes)
Wednesdays, 9:15-10:00 am

We’ll get wild about art in this mixed media class, making life-size monsters. Students design, paint and embellish their creations. Curriculum includes concepts related to size, color and texture. Fee: $25

Observational Drawing
(Homeschool, Ages 9-14)
September 24 through October 29 (6 classes)
Wednesdays, 10:30-11:30 am

Students explore techniques for making realistic pictures. The focus of this class is to draw what you see. Observational drawing is the fundamental building block for all realistic art. Fee: $50

Fundamentals of Art
(Homeschool, Ages 6-8)
September 25 through October 30 (6 classes)
Thursdays, 10:30-11:30 am

Drawing, painting and sculpture are explored in conjunction with an elementary school curriculum. We will connect art with nature, the environment and animals. Fee: $50

Parent and Child Old-Time Pinball
(Adult with Gr. 1-4)
September 27 through October 18 (4 classes)
Saturdays, 10:00-11:15 am

Students work with a parent to design and build an old-time pinball game utilizing wood, nails, rubber bands and more. These are games based on the bagatelle-style, table top pinball games. Games may have shooters, bumpers and flippers. This class has been called “the coolest class ever!” See for yourself. Fee: $55

Old-Time Pinball (Gr. 4-7)
September 27 through October 18 (4 classes)
Saturdays, 12:00-1:15 pm

Students design and build old-time pinball games utilizing wood, nails, rubber bands and more. These are games based on the bagatelle-style, table top pinball games. Games may have shooters, bumpers and flippers. Students must be able to use a hammer safely to participate in this class. This class has been called “the coolest class ever!” See for yourself. Fee: $55

Preschool Picassos (Ages 4-6)
October 22 through November 12 (4 classes)
Wednesdays, 9:15-10:00 am

We’ll paint on a variety of surfaces, exploring the techniques of master painters in very expressive ways. Don’t try this at home! We will spatter, brush and sprinkle our way to colorful creations. Curriculum includes concepts related to shape and color. Fee: $30

Beginning to Intermediate Harmonica
September 24 through October 29 (6 classes)
Wednesdays, 6:00-6:45 pm

Harmonica Joe Vanesky has logged in over 10,000 hours of playing. From daily practice sessions to annual blues and bluegrass festivals, Joe is considered a ‘master’ on harmonica. Techniques for playing blues, bluegrass and folk tunes are explored. This class is for people who have picked up harmonica and are trying to learn the basics of playing. Bending notes, positioning and special effects are all covered in this class. Fee: $50

Beginning Drawing
September 24 through October 29 (6 classes)
Wednesdays, 7:00-8:30 pm

Students explore techniques related to observational drawing. If you have an interest in learning how to draw objects and spaces in a realistic manner, this class is for you. Observational drawing is the fundamental building block for all realistic art. Fee: $70

Drawing Portraits
November 5 through November 19 (3 classes)
Wednesdays, 7:00-8:15 pm

Students often say that portraiture is the most difficult subject matter to execute artistically. We will look at techniques and methods to create expressive and realistic portraiture in pencil and charcoal pencil. Fee: $35
